WHAT ARE CLEAR ALIGNERS?
- Clear aligners are a series of clear sequential appliances that are custom designed and made to move teeth into ideal positions and correct bite issues. We work with two major clear aligner brands trusted by orthodontists world wide: Invisalign and Angel Aligner.
- They are an excellent alternative to metal or ceramic braces and wires, are virtually invisible and very effective at correcting most malocclusions like crowding, spacing and crossbites. Clear aligners need to be worn 22 hours per day to be most effective. They are easy to clean, you can brush and floss as normal, no pokey wires and most patients barely notice they're wearing them after the first couple of weeks.
All clear aligner treatment plans with The Smile Studio are prescribed by our associate orthodontist, a Diamond Invisalign® provider with twenty years of specialist experience.
How to get straighter teeth
Initial consultation
We meet with you to discuss whether clear aligner orthodontics is the right solution for you. We take a horoughtseries of photos, teeth scans, and refer for a panoramic X-ray for our associate orthodontist to evaluate your case.
Treatment plan approval
We discuss your prescribed treatment plan, quote and payment options with you. You can ask any questions relating to your plan, and take time to decide if it's the right solution for your needs. If going ahead, we settle some paperwork and payment and your clear aligners are ordered.
Start your clear aligners
Once your clear aligners arrive to us, we can get you started with your treatment. The first visit will be bonding tooth coloured attachments and practice fitting and removing your aligners. We will review your treatment progress every 6-8 weeks, and communicate closely with the orthodontist on your progress from start to finish.
Pricing
Initial consultation fee is $100 upfront (not including X-ray costs) that is transferable toward the full orthodontic treatment fee.
